Black Alliance of Thurston County

April 20, 2017-Parts 2 & 3

Race Film Series

Thursday, March 16, 2017 - "13th"

The Black Alliance of Thurston County, the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation's (OUUC) Standing Up to Racism, and The United Churches of Olympia (TUCO) are hosting a monthly film series, beginning in February 2017.

This is an opportunity for community members to explore, understand, and to discuss how our perceptions and actions are determined by and reflected in popular culture's depictions of race in our community and in America.

The Black Alliance of Thurston County will facilitate the discussion following each showing.

When: The third Thursday of each month, 6:30-9 pm

Where: OUUC Sanctuary, 2315 Division Street NW, Olympia 98502
